COseries: A Unique Approach to Branding and Self-Expression

COdesign Ltd, a team of passionate designers, has revolutionized the concept of branding with their dynamic identity project, COseries. Inspired by Google's famous doodles, COseries is a unique blend of design, psychology, and technology, creating a thought-provoking series of self-expression through the company logo.

COdesign Ltd has made its mark in the design industry with this self-branding initiative. Unlike typical branding strategies, COseries does not just portray the dynamism of the brand’s logo but also the creativity and expertise of the company and its members. The purpose is simple - design for impact and present the logo in various ways to communicate diverse stories.

The team has taken a variety of approaches while executing each of the ideas in this series. Some concepts have been created using photo manipulation processes on Adobe Photoshop, others have been completely digitally illustrated using Adobe Illustrator. Some have been modeled and generated using 3D techniques and software like Cinema 4D and ZBrush, while others have been hand-crafted with paper and scissors. The motion renders were generated using Adobe After Effects and Unreal Engine.

Every piece of the COseries has a tale that inspires the audience to imagine a better planet and to work towards it together. At COdesign, the belief is that everyone deserves a better tomorrow. This belief is reflected in every design, making each piece a thought-provoking work of art.

The COseries project began in 2016 and continues to be a running project with new content planned and designed every month. Originating from Bangladesh, it caters to a global audience. The creative team conducts regular brainstorming sessions and researches causes and occasions to develop content that is meaningful and informative.

Despite the challenges of learning and embracing new technologies and techniques with each new idea, the team has managed to keep the content confined to the CO shape. Execution requires more solution-based thinking compared to the ideation phase, and that's when most of the challenges occur and are solved by the team.

This Design was awarded Silver in A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award in 2021. The award is a testament to COdesign Ltd's outstanding expertise and innovation. The series of self-expression was born not just to highlight the dynamism of COdesign’s identity but to also portray the team’s philosophy, beliefs, creativity, and expertise.
