The ring's design features a seemingly flowing texture, reminiscent of the indefinite shape and constant change of the Hesdalen light. Embedded with various shapes and sizes of gems, it captures the unusual radiance of the Hesdalen light. The appearance of the ring resembles a scale, evoking the ancient Egyptian symbol of balance used to "weigh the heart" of the deceased. This symbolism aligns with the concept of life and death, further enhancing the allure of "The Mystery of the Universe."
The realization of this captivating design involved the use of advanced technology. Using the 3D Matrix program for the jewelry industry, a 3D model was created based on the Rhinoceros program. The ring was then prototyped using a 3D printer and cast in titanium. Meticulous handcrafting and polishing techniques were employed to ensure the perfect shine of the gems, showcasing their cut, clarity, and color. Finally, 266 zircons were meticulously fixed into the base product, adding a touch of brilliance to the piece.
With its flowing metal lines, emerging titanium materials, and a dazzling array of gems, "The Mystery of the Universe" offers a truly immersive experience. It symbolizes the richness, diversity, and infinite possibilities of the universe, captivating the wearer and onlookers alike.
