Tianyue One: A Modern Residential Design on the Banks of the Jialing River

Located on the banks of the Jialing River in Chongqing, the Tianyue One residence, designed by renowned architect Kris Lin, offers a unique blend of modern style and natural beauty. Inspired by the breathtaking view of the river and the surrounding landscape, this project aims to provide a tranquil and luxurious living experience.

One of the standout features of Tianyue One is its 5.6-meter-long terrace, which offers a panoramic view of the Jialing River and the millennium ancient town of Ciqikou on the other side. With a small garden, a comfortable sofa area, and a calming waterscape, the terrace provides the perfect space to relax and unwind while enjoying the stunning natural scenery.

Upon entering the residence, warm brown tones and a mix of materials such as white marble and wood create a simple yet elegant modern style. The use of floor-to-ceiling glass allows for an abundance of natural light to flood the interior, while also providing uninterrupted views of the river.

The design of the open space ensures seamless connectivity between the living room and dining room, while still maintaining their individual identities. The bedroom is designed as a suite, complete with a sleeping area, a spacious cloakroom, and a well-appointed bathroom.

Throughout the project, Kris Lin has incorporated the principles of Feng Shui, which emphasize the harmonious integration of humans with nature. By utilizing elements such as sunlight, air, and water, the design creates a space that promotes well-being and a strong connection to the natural world.

The Tianyue One project was completed in June 2021 after months of meticulous planning and execution. Its unique blend of modern design, natural beauty, and attention to detail has earned it the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022. This prestigious award recognizes the project's outstanding creativity, technical skill, and contribution to improving the quality of life.
