Fuya International Clubhouse: A Blend of Tradition and Innovation

Unveiling the Beauty of Chinese Design

The Fuya International Clubhouse, designed by Huang Xuanheng, is a stunning example of Chinese design that seamlessly blends tradition and innovation. Inspired by traditional Chinese gardening and the rich history of the Tang Dynasty, this clubhouse offers a unique and immersive experience for its visitors.

The entrance of the clubhouse immediately catches the eye with its vibrant colors and intricate stone collision. The use of the traditional Chinese color Zhu Zhan creates a striking contrast that metaphorically represents the red walls, distant mountains, bamboo, and ink stones found in the capital city of the Tang Dynasty. This combination evokes a sense of simplicity and warmth, setting the tone for the entire space.

One of the standout features of the Fuya International Clubhouse is its interior water scape and Tingbu, which are stepping stones set on water. These elements pay homage to traditional Chinese gardening, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The use of the Zhuzhan color in the aisle further enhances the connection to Chinese culture, adding a touch of elegance to the space.

The design of the clubhouse also incorporates the technique of green brick, commonly used in ancient Chinese palaces. This technique is evident in the curved foot of the walls and the aisle floor, adding a sense of authenticity and historical significance to the space. The careful attention to detail and the use of traditional materials showcase the designer's commitment to preserving and celebrating Chinese design heritage.

Spanning an impressive 860 square meters, the Fuya International Clubhouse offers a range of functions, including a meeting room, two Chinese restaurants, a cinema, and a residential model area. Each space is thoughtfully designed to create a harmonious and cohesive environment that reflects the essence of Chinese culture.

The Fuya International Clubhouse project began in September 2020 in Nanning, China, and is set to be completed by December 2021. It serves as a headquarters base for the Nanning Area of China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone, further highlighting its significance and impact on the local community.

The Fuya International Clubhouse has garnered recognition for its exceptional design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2023. This prestigious accolade is bestowed upon designs that demonstrate outstanding creativity, resourcefulness, and technical skill, contributing to improvements in quality of life.

With its seamless blend of tradition and innovation, the Fuya International Clubhouse stands as a testament to the beauty and richness of Chinese design. It offers visitors a unique and immersive experience, showcasing the best of Chinese culture and heritage.
