Monet Garden: A Countryside Oasis

Bringing Monet's Paintings to Life

The spirt of Monet broadening his horizon has inspired the resign plan coming up with Monet Garden, where the beauty of flowers, from Monet's paintings, comes to reality in this residence. The residence fulfills the client's expectation of a countryside living environment.

The Monet Garden, designed by Szu-Wen Wang and Chung-Ting Wang, is a stunning example of interior design that brings the essence of Monet's paintings to life. This unique project captures the beauty of flowers depicted in Monet's artwork and transforms it into a serene and enchanting living space.

Upon entering the Monet Garden, visitors are immediately captivated by the Spanish-style red tile pavements adorned with blue-and-white bricks, creating an exotic atmosphere. The wall fixtures, featuring deer heads and yellow ceramic tubes with bird-and-flower patterns, add an exquisite rural charm to the space.

Originating from the new classical fashion trend, the Monet Garden incorporates elements of countryside style that have gained popularity worldwide. The design plan beautifully combines classical elements with modest colors, resulting in a refreshing and idiosyncratic ambiance. The white woodworks adorned with delicate decorations create a sense of elegance and tranquility.

This spacious residence spans 112 square meters and offers a cozy and comforting living environment. The client's dream of inhabiting a place as intriguing as Monet's garden has been realized in this remarkable design. The Monet Garden is not just a living space; it is an experience that transports residents to a world of beauty and tranquility.

In the kitchen, large white cabinets harmoniously blend with the Spanish-style floor bricks, creating a seamless integration of functionality and aesthetics. The main bedroom is adorned with delicate classical-style tiles in shades of grey-blue, exuding a graceful charm. The wallpapers, featuring paintings of peonies and Muller's barbet, add splendor to the countryside style. The wooden floors are adorned with large carpets decorated with palm images, and the beige couches are complemented by vivid throw pillows.

The Monet Garden project was completed in August 2017 in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The designers, Szu-Wen Wang and Chung-Ting Wang, conducted extensive research to consistently present the western rural style in Taiwan. They overcame creative and technical challenges to create a design that seamlessly blends classical elements with modern sensibilities.

The Monet Garden has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2018 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Monet Garden stands out for its integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings to its inhabitants.

The Monet Garden, with its unique blend of art, architecture, and design, offers a truly exceptional living experience. It is a testament to the power of creativity and the ability to bring the beauty of nature and art into our everyday lives.
