After conducting extensive field studies and gathering feedback from patients and clients, the design team discovered that the waiting room experience was a significant source of anxiety and stress for patients. To address this, the project focused on reducing stress levels and creating a soothing atmosphere. The design theory behind FACE TOP CLINIC revolves around the use of continuous surfaces, mild cold colors, and layered lighting to enhance the overall ambiance.
The unique aspect of this project lies in its commitment to the continuous surface style. Not only were the ceilings and walls designed with this approach, but all elements of the space, including furniture, were carefully integrated to maintain a sense of unity. By applying this style throughout the clinic, a seamless and harmonious environment was created, promoting a sense of tranquility for patients.
In terms of construction, the team utilized materials that could be built uniformly and seamlessly to maintain the desired aesthetic. Drywall systems were employed for the ceilings, while a combination of drywall and traditional brick and plaster systems were used for the walls. The flooring featured a four-layered decorative epoxy material, meticulously executed to seamlessly blend with the gray-blue curve surfaces.
The FACE TOP CLINIC project is located in an 88 m2 apartment on the second floor of a building in Mirdamad Street, Tehran. The design process began in the summer of 2011 and was completed in the spring of 2013.
This innovative design has garnered recognition and accolades, including the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2015. This award recognizes the exceptional creativity, technical expertise, and innovation demonstrated by FACE TOP CLINIC. The design exemplifies excellence, evoking positive emotions and leaving visitors amazed and inspired.
With its unique continuous surface style and commitment to creating a stress-free environment, FACE TOP CLINIC redefines the clinic experience, setting a new standard for cosmetic surgery consultation spaces.
