The design process was a journey back in time. Leung and his team sourced cassette tape players and blank tapes, recording mix Christmas songs onto the tapes one by one, just like in the old days. The set, complete with a custom cardboard box design with hologram foil, a sleeve for the cassette tape box, and a cassette tape-like Christmas card, is a testament to the effort and care that went into creating mix tapes in the past.

However, the journey was not without its challenges. Finding blank cassettes in 2018 was a difficult task, and the team had to race against time to get everything ready before Christmas. But the effort paid off. The Christmas Carol Gift Set was a hit, stirring memories in the older generation and sparking curiosity in the younger ones.

It features a minimalistic design with a Christmas theme, incorporating elements such as foil, greeting cards, holograms, and of course, cassette tapes.
