Beijing One Majesty: A Contemporary Interpretation of Chinese Aesthetics

A Unique Sales Center Design by Kot Ge - LSD Casa

In terms of the first vision of the hall, Kot Ge - LSD Casa uses a whole piece of hand-designed metal to create a landscape painting-like effect. The density of texture and changing colors showcase the features endowed in a landscape painting. The design also incorporates boulders made of pure copper and a marble water platform to create a landscape with "mountains and rivers." The blending of motion and stillness, as well as softness and rigidity, adds depth and richness to the space.

The Beijing One Majesty sales center features the use of STELLAR WORKS brand chairs and a pure copper with marble water platform. The design specifications measure 30000mm x 82000mm x 8000mm, providing a spacious and immersive experience for visitors.

By avoiding the overemphasis of Chinese signs, Kot Ge - LSD Casa ensures that the design remains contemporary and relevant. The use of wire-loaded books, brass forged pines, small jades, and copper vessels softens the "split" and adds subtle touches of Chinese aesthetics.

The project started in March 2017 and was completed in May 2017 in Beijing. Throughout the design process, Kot Ge - LSD Casa aimed to challenge the notion of Chinese aesthetics by imagining a China without cultural fault or Western worship. The result is a design that interprets the China image from a contemporary perspective, showcasing the evolution of Chinese aesthetics.

Beijing One Majesty by Kot Ge - LSD Casa was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2018 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award recognizes the design's well-thought-out practicality, innovation, and adherence to professional and industrial requirements.
