Charles Lee, the creative genius behind Viva Group's 2017 annual report, drew inspiration from the company's focus on television and digital portals. The theme, 'Interactive for Growth', reflects the interaction between Viva and its audience. The design, a harmonious blend of corporate red shades and other colors, exudes a festive yet elegant and attractive feel. Images of production tools and events, combined with typography, effectively communicate this theme.

Viva Group, a leading integrated media convergence company in Indonesia, is known for its innovation in micro targeting, synergies, and audience interaction. The company's activities span Free to Air (FTA) TV stations and fast-growing digital portals, supported by social media and off-air activities for comprehensive reach across all channels. This annual report design encapsulates these unique properties, showcasing Viva's consistent innovation in the sector.

The annual report was realized through digital printing, with perfect binding and spot UV finishing on the cover. The technical specifications include a size of 210 mm (w) x 297 mm (h) and 303 pages printed on Artpaper 150 & 300 g. The design features vibrant colors, bold typography, and humanist infographics, making it a visually interactive piece that supports financial data and corporate information.

The design process, which started in Jakarta in December 2017 and concluded in March 2018, presented challenges in compiling informative yet interesting information. These challenges were overcome by creating a simple design that combined vibrant colors, bold typography, and humanist infographics. The use of different page sizes added an element of surprise and made the annual report an interesting experience for the reader.

This design has not only won the admiration of its audience but also earned Charles Lee a Silver A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category in 2019. This prestigious award is given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation, strong technical characteristics, and splendid artistic skill.
