The Cube Project: Redefining Urban Living with Innovative Design

A Modern and Versatile Solution for Urban Dwellers

With the Cube Project, designer Beto Magalhaes introduces a groundbreaking concept that revolutionizes urban living. This innovative design offers a flexible and adaptable solution for those seeking a modern and customizable home in the heart of bustling cities.

The Cube Project was born out of the need to maximize the use of small, well-located plots in urban centers, particularly in the city of Sao Paulo. With land being a scarce resource in densely populated areas, Magalhaes saw an opportunity to create a standardized and replicable floor plan that could be adapted to these smaller plots.

One of the key strengths of the Cube Project is its versatility. The open spaces within the design allow residents to customize their homes according to their needs and preferences. Whether it's a one-bedroom, two-bedroom, or three-bedroom layout, the Cube Project can easily accommodate different living arrangements without incurring high costs.

The construction model employed in the Cube Project, known as Open Space Design, eliminates the need for structural internal walls. This flexibility enables residents to easily modify the layout of their homes, making it a truly adaptable living space. Additionally, the ground floor offers various options such as a parking space, a gourmet area, a home office, or even an additional guest room.

Technology plays a significant role in the Cube Project as well. With a smartphone app, residents have complete control over access to their homes, including the ability to navigate cameras and remotely operate gates. This integration of design, concept, and technology aims to redefine the concept of urban villas, creating a modern and secure living environment.

The Cube Project is currently being realized in several locations in Sao Paulo, with each project consisting of 6 to 8 residential units. The first project, Cube Florida, is set to be completed in June 2019 and features 8 residential units ranging from 112 to 143 square meters. The remaining projects are scheduled for completion by the end of 2019.

Recognized for its innovation and practicality, the Cube Project was awarded the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2019. This accolade acknowledges the project's well-designed and innovative approach, meeting the highest professional and industrial standards.

With its unique design, adaptability, and integration of technology, the Cube Project offers a new way of living in urban centers. By utilizing small plots effectively, this modern and versatile solution provides residents with the freedom to customize their living spaces and enjoy the benefits of a secure and contemporary community.
