Exquisite Design Meets Functionality: HBI Ceramiche by Po Yang Chu

Revolutionizing Space with Innovative Design and Technology

Discover how Po Yang Chu, a renowned designer, has transformed the operational headquarters of HBI Ceramiche into a dynamic, multi-functional space that merges interior and exterior, creating an exquisite exhibition hall of high style.

The design of HBI Ceramiche's operational headquarters, crafted by Po Yang Chu, is a testament to the power of innovative design. The main concept of the project was to shape the "empty" ladder and platform, creating a multi-functional communication space that seamlessly blends the interior and exterior. This unique approach has resulted in a creative visual space within a multi-compound structure.

The unique properties of this design lie in its dynamic rhythm and harmonious space experience. The overall layout of the space has a sense of hierarchy, opening and closing to focus on different areas. This new creative concept showcases the exquisite exhibition hall in a high style, setting it apart from other designs.

Rock slab paving applications were extensively used to realize the integrated expression of space. The courtyard, composed of an exhibition platform, stage, and seating, forms a multi-functional communication space. The exterior facade, a dynamic cortex projecting outward from the interior space, merges the interior and exterior into one.

The design was completed on October 17, 2018, in Foshan, China, over a duration of 180 days. The project faced challenges such as accommodating employees' and clients' lunch needs, which was resolved by extending the service center to include a small canteen. This addition maintained the modern and practical functions of the design.

The design was awarded the Silver A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021. This prestigious award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation. These designs, admired for their strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, introduce positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.

In conclusion, Po Yang Chu's design for HBI Ceramiche's operational headquarters is a stunning example of how innovative design and technology can revolutionize a space. The project showcases the power of design to create a harmonious and dynamic space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
