The One Mansion: A New Era of Chang'an Style

The One Mansion, a project located in the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties, draws its inspiration from the rich history of the Han and Tang Dynasties. The design team has meticulously crafted a space that iterates the essence of traditional culture in a modern context, creating a new Chang'an style product that resonates with the spiritual needs of contemporary human settlements.

The design of The One Mansion breaks away from the conventional charm and gentleness of the Tang and Qin Dynasties. Instead, it employs materials such as metal, stone, and glass to cultivate a strong line space temperament. The design elements are inspired by various facets of Chang'an's rich heritage, including the clothing of the Qin and Han Dynasties, Chang'an cuisine, the palaces of the Tang Dynasty, the Silk Road, drum music, and Qin opera. The result is a modern, fashionable new capital with a strong sense of science and technology.

In the realization of this design, the warmth and delicacy of wood veneer and the calm rationality of galaxy grey stone are used in harmony, creating a space that is orderly and appropriate. The extensive use of plants and sustainable materials in the room reflects a return to nature. The project, covering a total of 2000 square meters, started in July 2020 in Xi'an and was completed in August 2021.

The design team faced several creative and technical challenges during the realization of this project. One of the most notable features of the design is the three-dimensional grid-shaped chandelier in the sandbox area, created by interspersing and overlapping metal lines. This feature embodies the rational and rigorous beauty of mathematics, and from a distance, it creates a cloud-like hollowed-out design that leads the vision to a further distance, inheriting the historical and cultural origin of the ancient city of Xi'an.

The One Mansion Sales Center is a testament to the design prowess of Shenzhen Yunfan International Art Design Co., Ltd. The project creates a brand-new Chang'an style product in the form of space with the essence of traditional culture to respond to the spiritual needs of contemporary human settlements. The design breaks the stereotype of regional ancient charm and gentleness, and uses metal, stone, glass and other materials to cultivate the strong spatial temperament of lines. Through national costumes, Chang'an cuisine, Datang palace, silk road, drum music, Qin opera and other elements as the source of inspiration for creation, create a fashionable new city with a sense of science and technology.
