The Changhua County Government has reimagined a once idle space beneath a stadium into a bustling center of creativity and ambition, drawing inspiration from the concept of an airport to symbolize the journey of ideas taking flight.

The design's uniqueness stems from its clever integration of the Changhua Youth (C.H.Y.) brand identity into every corner of the interior. The use of vibrant blue and yellow hues not only injects energy into the space but also carries symbolic significance, representing infinite possibilities and the courage to challenge, respectively. The logo's square and round shapes echo the values of cohesion and tolerance. Furthermore, the incubator boasts a dual-function conference room, ingeniously utilizing sound-absorbing curtains to create a versatile space that can host simultaneous events.

Changhua County Government's commitment to eco-friendly practices is evident in the choice of building materials. The office features partitions made from green calcium silicate boards, angle steel, and polypropylene hollow boards, while recycled fruit and vegetable baskets are repurposed into a striking display gallery. The furniture, designed for flexibility, is crafted from reassembled angle steel with pulleys, allowing for easy reconfiguration to suit various needs. This approach not only maximizes space utility but also aligns with the principle of using reusable materials.

The design team's technical prowess is showcased in the transformation of the 288.6 square meter area. By removing ceilings and partitions, they enhanced natural light and air circulation, significantly reducing the dependence on artificial lighting. The main office benefits from horizontal windows adjacent to a runway, while the manager's office features light-transmitting matte glass to balance privacy with an open atmosphere.

Interactivity is a key aspect of the incubator's design. Colorful acrylic panels display vital statistics about Changhua's economic and entrepreneurial landscape, offering visitors insights into the tangible impacts of local policies. This transparency not only encourages aspiring entrepreneurs but also serves as a benchmark for other public sectors seeking innovative design solutions.

The incubator's success is underscored by its recognition at the prestigious A' Design Award, where it clinched a Bronze in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2024.
