10 Degrees Design's Poly Conghua: A Litchi-Inspired Sales Center

Unveiling a Unique Architectural Masterpiece that Marries Tradition and Modern Aesthetics

The Poly Conghua project stands out for its unique properties. The designer's intent was not merely to create a space with a sales function but to design a humanistic ecological network that resonates with Conghua's local characteristics. The litchi fruit, with its sharp touch, is connected to the unique triangular elements of the project site and buildings. This connection extends the experience of the small fruit to the large buildings and spatial experiences of customers, creating a unique landmark art installation.

The design realization technology used in the project includes a variety of materials such as plated metal, resin, automotive paint, wood, density boards, leather finishing, fabric finishing, sponge, metal, acrylic fibers, and marble. The litchi model at the entrance, artistic installations, architectural structures, and decoration all carry the humanistic thought and life emotion that the designer intended.

The project, which spans 1013㎡, is located in the suburb of Guangzhou, a city with a long history and a strong cultural atmosphere. The design research for the project involved extracting litchi as the entry point to modernize it, combining it with local humanities, and improving the sense of living level.

One of the main challenges faced by the design team was to combine traditional humanities with modern aesthetics in a way that resonates. Against the backdrop of the building's exterior, the combination of interior decoration makes visitors feel the touch and breath like litchi pulp. The large-scale litchi art installation improves the atmosphere and memory points, while elegant color matching and bookshelves covered with walls add a humanistic atmosphere and texture.

The Poly Conghua project has been recognized for its design excellence, winning the Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2022. This award is granted to marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom. They are venerated products and bright ideas that advance art, science, design, and technology, embodying extraordinary excellence and significantly impacting the world with their desirable characteristics.
