Runze Palace: A Luxurious Blend of Empire Style and Oriental Elegance

A Showcase of Classical Luxury and Cultural Fusion

The design of Runze Palace, a residential show home in Beijing, China, is a testament to the grandeur of Empire style architecture and the beauty of Oriental decorative arts. Designed by David Chang Design Associates Int'l, this magnificent villa seamlessly blends European classical luxury with exquisite Oriental elements, creating a unique and opulent living space.

Spanning over 2300 square meters, Runze Palace is a true masterpiece of design and craftsmanship. With two levels in the basement and two levels above ground, plus an attic level, this exclusive residence offers a spacious and luxurious living experience. The villa features five bedrooms with en suites, two large kitchens, two dining rooms, a den in the attic with a 20-foot ceiling height, a living room with a 26-foot ceiling height, a home theater, a karaoke room, a home museum, an indoor swimming pool, and more.

What sets Runze Palace apart is the incorporation of traditional Oriental decorative arts and interior architectural elements. The designers have introduced Beijing Cao style Kite, Tibetan Buddhism embroidery, and golden Chinese painting on black lacquered screens, adding a touch of cultural richness to the space. These exquisite details, combined with the imported furniture and decorative lighting fixtures from Italy, Portugal, Belgium, France, and England, create a truly unique and luxurious ambiance.

The show home was meticulously constructed to showcase the developer's attention to detail and commitment to quality. By allowing potential buyers to view the property by appointment only, the developers aimed to instill confidence and comfort in their potential clients. The success of this approach was evident when the show home was sold for 38 million Euros, just three months after its completion.

David Chang Design Associates Int'l faced several challenges during the design and construction of Runze Palace. The team had to source and procure the spectacular European classical furnishings within a tight schedule, as the construction contractors took longer than expected to meet the design approval. However, their dedication and creativity prevailed, resulting in a truly remarkable and luxurious living space.

Runze Palace is a true testament to the beauty of Empire style architecture and the elegance of Oriental decorative arts. By seamlessly blending these two distinct styles, David Chang Design Associates Int'l has created a show home that exudes opulence and cultural fusion. This exceptional design has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2017, highlighting its outstanding creativity and contribution to quality of life improvements.
